SCC (VCA) certification
Why should you be VCA certified?
The VGM Checklist for Contractors (VCA) is a tool in the development, implementation and improvement of an efficient safety management system. The VGM Checklist contains the requirements to structurally design your policy in terms of safety. It will allow you to manage relevant processes in the organisation better and to continuously optimise them.
Who would benefit from VCA certification?
A VCA certificate is intended for organisations performing work that involves an increased risk. This could relate, for example, to work on construction sites, factories, workplaces and installations. A VCA certificate demonstrates that you take ‘safety, health and the environment’ seriously. The VCA certificate is a confirmation that you and your employees are able to perform the work, for which you are certified, safely and will also follow through on this. When winning new business, the VCA certificate and logo confirms your edge on competitors who do not yet have the certificate.

An important objective of VCA Petrochemie is to strengthen the management of HSE risks throughout the chain, from client to (sub)contractor. In this way, clients aim to be able to devolve part of the management of the chain to the main contractor in a responsible manner. | |
